Welcome to the Homepage of the Joseph S. Snyder Lineage!

We are the descendants of Joseph Shaffer (1880-1948) & Tammie Mae (Gill) Snyder (1883-1973) who migrated to Juniata Township, Blair County, PA in the early 1900’s.

Joseph was a lumberman-businessman who worked in the woods most of his life. Tammie was a homemaker caring for their children.

Their offspring consisted of (9) sons & (1) daughter - Henry, Albert, Josephine, Robert, Merle, Orville, Michael, Melvin, Richard and Harold.
